Among the areas of activity of Lefoo, we highlight the applications involving level control. Present in hundreds of applications, level control is of extreme importance as a component in hydraulic operations, with the monitoring of reservoirs of the most varied uses and sizes.

Applications involving level control range from small water reservoirs, for small industrial applications, to monitoring the level of large reservoirs, lakes, rivers, through food production lines, among many other applications.

Level Control Sensors

Among the control needs made by sensors in industry, the level sensors are included in the most used ones. Hydraulic products were presented in a variety of industrial plants, but also have the same space in homes, condominiums, with a focus on reducing the impact of water crises in large centers.

In industries, boilers and branches that usually do for the maintenance of the operating system to ensure the processes and processes, as well as ensuring the safety of some of them. The control function is simple, varying only according to the technology used.

The most common systems work with floating type sensors. This sensor consists of a small float containing an encapsulated electrical contact, acting as a switch, opening and closing its contacts. When attached to the reservoir margins, this entry is permitted by opening or closing an electrical contact as the water level reaches the float variation limit.

Our systems consist of two sensors. One of the main indicators of minimum life is the reservoir, while another is the maximum level. Together, the sensors identify when the minimum level is reached. At this point the water pumps are triggered. When the water level reaches the upper limit, the second sensor opens its contact, disabling a pump.

This type of level control has an advantage over the installation cost, as well as long duration, being possible to use it with water pumps of any capacity.
